Once upon a time, there lived a boy named Harry who was 15
years old. He had pure black hair and blue eyes. He was strong and thin and lived
at the edge of the forest. Every day Harry went for a walk inside the forest
and even had animal friends. His animal friends included a rabbit, a parrot, a
bear, a deer, a squirrel, and a monkey.
One day, Harry went to another part of the forest. He walked
on and on until he reached lots of trees looking as if they were hiding something.
He went amid the trees and found an old man with a very long beard, which
reached his knees. Harry asked the old man, “What is your name?”
The old man turned around in surprise.
“What is your name?” He asked.
“My name is Harry,” Harry replied.
“What!” said the old man.
“What, what!” said Harry. “I mean why did you say ‘what’
when I told you my name?”
“Because you are a magical boy,” said the old man.
“I am a magical boy! How can I do magic? I haven’t done
anything magical in my life!”
“I know because you don’t yet know how to do magic. I will teach
you magic. Come here at the same time tomorrow.”
“OK,” said Harry.

The next day, Harry went near the same trees and met the
same old man. The old man said, “So you came!”
“But,” Harry said, “First tell me your name.”
“OK, my name is Sam and you can call me by my name,” said
the old man.
“Come, now let me teach magic to you.”
Then Sam gave magic lessons to Harry. This went on for
several months. Every day, Harry would go to the old man in the morning and
learnt all that the old man taught him.
One day, the old man said, “Son, you have now learnt all
that I had to teach you. Now you can go and use your magic, but remember to use
it only for good things and never misuse it.”
“Thank you, Sam,” said Harry.
“But before you leave, Harry, I want to give you a gift.”
“What kind of a gift?”
“A sword,” replied Sam.
Harry was surprised, “A sword!”
“Yes, a sword, the name of which is Lightening Bolt,” said
Sam. “It is a magical sword that can control lightening. Let me show you how.”
Sam, then, raised the sword in the air and there was
lightening in the sky.
“Wow!” said Harry. “And so amazing. I don’t believe this
sword would be mine!”
“It will be yours,” said Sam. “But beware of the sorcerer
names Flynn.”
“Who’s Flynn?”
“Flynn is an evil sorcerer who lives –“
“What happened, why did you stop?” questioned Harry.
Sam replied, “Because nobody knows where he…. NO!!!“
A voice thundered from nowhere, “Where I live? Then
you are totally right!”
“Oh no! It’s Flynn!”
“Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! I saw the lightening and have come to take
the sword. I had been looking for it for years! Ha! Ha! Ha!”
Flynn flew down and snatched the sword from Sam’s hands. Sam
fell down with the sudden push from Flynn.
Lightning looked closely at Flynn. He had eyes like a snake
and was tall with wings like a bat. His nose was sharp and pointed and his ears
resembled a fish fin. Flynn’s legs were similar to a dragon’s with claws, while
his fingers were long and bony. He also had a long tail that ended in a spiky
ball.
As soon as he snatched the sword, Flynn turned around and
flew away. Harry helped Sam get up and asked him, “Where is he going? And why
doesn’t anyone know where he lives?”
“Because nobody dares to find out.”
“Then, let’s follow him and get back the sword.”
Sam and Flynn looked in the direction Flynn had flown to and
followed him to a temple. Harry looked around the temple, “Wow! This is so big!
Now I will try to get my sword back from Flynn with the magic you’ve taught
me.”
Harry tiptoed behind the pillar where Flynn was hiding.
Flynn was thinking about the sword and the destruction he would cause with it and
did not notice Harry or Sam following him. As he was thinking, Harry made a
fire with one hand and a mini tornado with another. Then, he directed the
tornado towards the sword in Flynn’s hands and the tornado sucked the sword out
of Flynn’s hands.
When Flynn realized that the sword was gone, he shouted at Harry,
“How dare you!!!”
And the fight began. There was complete chaos. The trees
were burning and the ground was blackened with fire all around. There was a
mountain nearby and Harry decided to climb it. As he ran towards the mountain,
he told Sam, “Distract Flynn, while I climb that mountain.”
Sam used his magical power to distract Flynn, while Harry
found a narrow ridge in the mountain close to an alley, which he used to climb it.
When he looked down, he saw Sam fighting with Flynn. Then he realized that it
had grown very hot because of the fire. As he reached the mountain top, he
thought of a plan.
He summoned lightening through his sword and aimed it
towards Flynn. The sword struck Flynn and he fell down instantly, never to get
up again.
As the sword returned to Harry, he summoned the wind with
all his strength and rode down the mountain with the wind. As Flynn died, his
magical powers ceased and the fire in the forest also stopped. Sam collected
himself from the ground where he had fallen and remarked, “Good aim, Harry.
Your strike killed the evil sorcerer Flynn. You should go home now.”
Harry looked around
the forest, which was now free from all evil magic and was green again. He
smiled and said, “You’re right. I should be going home now. Bye!”
